Job summary

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to lead daily operations of the Security Department and safeguard guests, staff, and property. You will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with gaming, tribal, and safety regulations.

The role also covers on‑the‑floor leadership during peak times, scheduling, training, and maintaining a calm, service‑oriented environment across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in casino security or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security ambassadors on shift and provide direction, coaching, and logistical support.
• Respond to security, medical, or behavioral incidents in real time and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Train ambassadors on customer service, de-escalation, and regulatory compliance; monitor performance.
