Job summary

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel is seeking a Manager – Surveillance Operations to lead the Surveillance Department, ensuring independent, compliant monitoring of gaming and non-gaming activities. You will direct investigations, report to executive leadership, and maintain regulatory readiness while safeguarding departmental independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in casino surveillance or a closely related regulated environment.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in surveillance or security preferred.
• Experience interacting with regulatory bodies and managing inspections or audits preferred.
• Experience leading investigations and preparing executive-level reports preferred.
• Previous Tribal gaming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Surveillance activities to ensure compliant monitoring of gaming and non-gaming operations.
• Maintain independence, regulatory readiness, and integrity of the Surveillance Department.
• Direct internal investigations and oversee reporting to the General Manager, Security, HR, Finance, and regulators.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate with IT, Security, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to support enterprise risk management and transparency.
