Job summary

Las Vegas, NV-based MGM Resorts International seeks a Security Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead a team dedicated to keeping guests and staff safe. You will guide security activities, respond to escalations, and ensure policies and procedures align with company objectives.

The ideal candidate has security or leadership experience in hotel/casino environments, knowledge of incident documentation, and familiarity with surveillance or dispatch systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Previous security or leadership experience in hotel, resort, casino, or similar environment.
• Familiarity with security reporting systems, incident documentation, and surveillance/dispatch operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Security operations, providing direction, guidance, and support to Security personnel.
• Lead talent management: interviewing, hiring, training, development, and scheduling.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift briefings with operational updates and priorities.
• Respond to escalated guest, employee, and security incidents with sound judgment.
• Support leadership in implementing initiatives and achieving company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and policies.
• Collaborate with departments and emergency responders for incident coordination.
