Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to assist the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post. A comprehensive onboarding course is provided to equip you with best practices and tools.

The role involves coordinating security contract execution, supervising security staff, maintaining post orders, and mentoring new employees. A strong focus on safety, compliance and client relations is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience; security industry or related background.
• Valid state Guard License; background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and coach others and enforce policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of executing the security contract at the assigned location under the supervision of the Account Manager.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train Security Professionals; evaluate performance and make assignments recommendations.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and training information; ensure post is clean and organized.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new employees; train and orient post staff.
• Oversee reports, logs, communications, and pass-downs for the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units within Security (fire control room, command center, loading docks).
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Identify personnel issues and escalate to Account Manager or HR as needed.
• Recommend counseling or disciplinary actions as directed; support investigations.
• Respond to client/site emergencies; maintain client relationships.
• Occasionally perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time.
