Buona is seeking an Assistant Manager in Illinois to lead hourly team members and manage restaurant operations. The role focuses on building a strong management foundation and developing future Restaurant Managers, with opportunities for advancement.

Under Senior Managers, you will use industry tools to oversee daily operations, training, and scheduling while driving guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail (QSR preferred).
• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Some experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established training programs.
• Guide and lead a motivated team toward success.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist Sr. Management with daily shift planners and checklists.
• Communicate new information and procedures to staff.
• Utilize the Management Communication Log during shifts.
• Assist in development and training of staff.
• Aim to achieve sales targets.
• Identify revenue areas and develop strategies to impact sales.
• Support advertising, marketing plans, HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Support the balanced corporate structure and family culture.
