Job summary

Buona is actively seeking experienced restaurant leaders to join our management team across multiple Illinois locations. Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager roles.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• QSR experience preferred.
• Drive-thru and Catering experience preferred.
• Familiar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shift.
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses.
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees.
• Conduct quarterly reviews.
• Adhere to established training programs.
• Make staffing recommendations, support employee development, and partner in performance management decisions.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success.
