Beyond Catering in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead hourly team members and ensure a superb dining experience for guests using industry-leading tools to manage operations. This role offers a path toward future Restaurant Management and opportunities for career advancement.

You will build a strong management foundation, develop staff, monitor daily shift planners, and support Sr. Management in achieving sales targets while upholding company standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail (QSR preferred).
• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of common restaurant practices and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established training programs.
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist Sr. Management with the setup and direction of daily shift planners & checklists.
• Communicate new information and procedures to current staff.
• Utilize the Management Communication Log throughout each shift.
• Assist with the development and training of new and existing staff.
• Aim to achieve sales targets.
• Recognize revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
