Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Onalaska, WI seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and to drive sales, service quality, and guest satisfaction.

You will lead staff, enforce policies, and ensure food safety and proper training. This role offers growth opportunities within a well-established brand and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role; preferably in the food service industry.
• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with employees, guests and vendors in person and by telephone.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and guest payments accurately.
• Plan and train staff, including recruitment, orientation, and development of employees.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework as required.
• Maintain ServSafe certification and monitor food safety standards.
• Perform and assist in all restaurant duties to support a smooth operation.
• Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented per standards.
