Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, driving sales and profits, and delivering exceptional Guest and Team service at our Elizabethtown, KY location. You will help interview, train and coach Team Members while ensuring procedures and policies are followed on every shift.

This role requires a 1–2 year QSR management background, strong communication skills, and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• 1–2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours.
• High energy to handle fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to integrity, service, excellence and growth.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring Team Members.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train Team Members on operations, policies and Guest service.
• Identify and address complaints and policy violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members.
• Maintain a safe, clean and engaging environment for Guests and employees.
