Checkers & Rally’s is seeking an Assistant Manager in Kentucky to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, promoting guest satisfaction, and achieving sales and profit goals. This role emphasizes training, interviewing, and coaching Team Members while upholding policy and safety standards.

You will lead shifts, ensure a safe and friendly environment, and communicate effectively with staff and guests in a fast-paced QSR setting in Lexington, KY.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety certification is required or preferred.
• 1–2 years restaurant management experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours.
• High energy to keep up with a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train Team Members on operations, policies and Guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy violations.
• Provide feedback and coaching on team performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean and fun environment for staff and Guests.
