Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s in Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager by executing the restaurant plan, driving sales and profits, and delivering outstanding Guest and Team service daily.

You will help interview and hire the right Team Members, train staff on operations and policies, coach performance, handle guest concerns, and ensure the restaurant remains safe, clean, and energetic in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certified.
• 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Basic math skills.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours.
• High energy to keep up with our fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
• Train Team Members on operations, Company policies and Guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy and procedure violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members on their performance.
• Help ensure the restaurant is a safe, clean and fun environment for our employees and Guests!
