Job summary

Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner service and direct bar operations. Youll hire, train, and coach staff, enforce SOPs, and manage hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost control, responding to guest feedback, and ensuring health and safety compliance. A strong team leader with 2+ years in hospitality is preferred, with opportunities for growth within HEI Hotels

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Supervision/ management communication skills are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, evaluate performance and recommend discipline when appropriate.
• Assist with the implementation of company programs and manage Restaurant/Room Service operations to ensure compliance and quality service.
• Forecast, monitor, control and report on outlet budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Respond to customer trends and issues to ensure a quality experience and repeat business.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of outlet areas and equipment.
