Job summary

Go Store It Self-Storage is seeking a dependable on-site maintenance associate. You will perform basic repairs, maintain unit cleanliness, and help keep properties safe and functional for customers.

You'll walk properties daily, address issues like lighting and leaks, and assist customers on site. No college degree required; high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license is needed.

• Assist with on-site maintenance and basic repairs to keep properties clean and functional.
• Walk the property daily to spot trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything needing attention.
• Perform small fixes like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch work.
• Keep hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs clean and organized.
• Turn over units after move-outs, including sweeping and prepping for new renters.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Help customers on site and provide hands-on support as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Training new hires following training manually.
• Updating unit status.
• Adjusting rates.
• Handling customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that's off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they're working.
• Help customers when they're on site and need a hand.
