Job summary

Go Store It Management is seeking a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician to keep our storage properties in top condition. You will walk the property daily, perform basic repairs, and support on-site customers while maintaining clean, secure spaces.

This role offers schedule flexibility and a stable 40-hour work week. We provide health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, two weeks of paid time off in the first year, and ten paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and upkeep across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to identify trash, damage, lighting, leaks, or anomalies.
• Perform small repairs (locks, lights, doors, toilets, painting) and routine maintenance.
• Keep hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms clean and orderly.
• Prepare units for move-outs and turnovers.
• Inspect gates, lights, and alarms; ensure proper operation.
• Assist on-site customers and provide helpful service.
• Maintain property so it looks presentable and runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move‑outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth. Like something you’re proud to be part of.
