City of Houston is seeking a supervisor for the Wastewater Operations Emergency/Standby Generators. You will supervise the Emergency Generators Team, maintain generator assets, and coordinate maintenance contracts, deployments, and after-hours calls.

You will develop operational procedures, review methods, monitor training, stay current on laws and technology, prepare reports, and interact with vendors and city officials.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program (18 months–3 years).
• Six years of experience closely related to the branch/division activities.
• Valid Texas driver's license and compliance with City of Houston driving policy.
• Veteran preference per Executive Order 1-6.

• Assist in managing Wastewater Operations of Emergency/ standby Generators and supervise the Emergency Generators Team.
• Maintain portable and stationary generators and manage the Generator Maintenance Contract as UDR.
• Coordinate deployments with facility supervisors and afterhours on-call duties.
• Develop and interpret branch/division policies and update operating procedures.
• Prepare reports, train staff, and coordinate with vendors and external agencies.
