Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; completion of an approved apprentice electrician program.
• Four years of journey-level electrical experience.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License and Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance of water treatment plants and facilities.
• Review blueprints to ensure electrical code and specification compliance.
• Prepare and supervise preventive maintenance and training programs.
• Coordinate site maintenance with outside contractors and City departments.
• Respond to emergency calls for electrical issues.
• Maintain materials, tools and equipment for maintenance.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
