Job summary

City of Houston, Houston Water/Wastewater Operations, seeks an Emergency Management Tier II professional to lead preventive and predictive maintenance of wastewater facilities. You will coordinate day-to-day work with Operations and Maintenance Planners, assist in maintenance execution, and monitor service contracts and warranty issues.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Project Management or related field, plus four

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Project Management or a closely related field; considerable knowledge of design or construction.
• Four (4) years of experience in construction, construction inspection, design, landscape design, geotechnical, environmental or closely related field.
• Directly related professional architectural, construction or landscape design experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support preventive and predictive maintenance of wastewater facilities.
• Coordinate completion of planned and unplanned work day-to-day with Operations and Maintenance Planners.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of maintenance, and monitor service contracts and warranty issues.
• Review CIP construction drawings and specifications; initiate new service contracts and projects as needed.
