MD Squared Property Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of properties in New York. You will help deliver an excellent residential experience by coordinating with building staff and residents, and by tracking payments and lease renewals.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for real estate, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks from start to finish with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• No direct experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident requests to ensure a high-quality residential experience.
• Maintain regular communication with building staff.
• Assist in timely maintenance of all building operations and systems.
• Coordinate responses to building emergencies and arrange appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with Appfolio, the resident portal, to provide information.
• Report to company principals on an ongoing basis.
• Track monthly payments and report arrears.
• Track and prepare lease renewals.
