Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Texas is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in daily operations, lease administration, and resident relations. You will oversee vendor contracts, maintain rent rolls, prepare monthly reports, and help ensure safety and cleanliness of the property.

The role requires 2–3 years in property management, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Yardi Voyager; real estate license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Real estate license preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience is required.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in the day-to-day operations of the property.
• Manage resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable, rent posting, deposits, and rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records for accuracy and deadlines; handle delinquent accounts.
• Process evictions and related notices in coordination with legal process.
• Lease apartments as needed and assist with marketing.
• Inspect buildings for safety and cleanliness; coordinate maintenance.
• Assist training of staff on leasing, traffic entry, and office ops.
• Prepare routine correspondence and rental notices.
• Support resident relations and issue resolution.
• Take on property operations in the manager’s absence.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
