Job summary

Mercy Othello Plaza in Seattle, WA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations at an affordable housing community. This on-site role involves coordinating resident engagement, ensuring HUD/Tax Credit compliance, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include assisting with resident records, rent collection, leasing from application to move-in, and coordinating with Front Desk and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of real estate property management applications.
  • Knowledge of HUD and Tax Credit housing laws.

The successful Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property. Strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit experience are essential. You'll provide customer service to residents and visitors, and take the initiative and provide direction to staff. Work with the Front Desk and Maintenance site teams and coordinate resident engagement and events.

This is an on-site position. Mercy Othello Plaza is an affordable housing apartment community in Seattle, WA.

Pay: $25.45 - $30.00/hour, dependent on experience.

  • Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday)
  • Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours)

Duties

  • Knowledge of real estate property management applications.

  • Maintain resident account receivable ledgers under supervision.
