Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing operations at an LIHTC/HUD Section 8 affordable housing community. You will manage wait lists, income verifications, renewals, and coordinate inspections while ensuring full occupancy and compliance.

This role requires strong customer service, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Property Management experience in LIHTC/HUD settings.
• Certification related to affordable housing or compliance (TCS/COS) preferred.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited oversight in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with accounts receivable and collections.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and One-Site PM software.

Responsibilities

• Manage wait list and apply LIHTC/Section 8 compliance.
• Coordinate income verification, renewals, and data collection.
• Assist with accounts receivable and payables.
• Coordinate inspections and recertifications.
• Maintain resident files per policy and regulatory rules.
• Support leasing tasks and resident inquiries.
• Oversee marketing efforts to maintain full occupancy.
