Job summary

Pratum Co seeks an experienced Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing operations for an affordable housing community governed by HUD/Section 8 regulations. You will lead a team, ensure full occupancy, maintain compliance, and deliver excellent service to residents and applicants.

The role covers marketing, application processing, income verification, renewals, and coordination with property management to maintain records and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of property management experience in affordable housing.
• 2+ years' experience in HUD/Section 8 compliance, certification and recertification.
• Certification related to HUD/Section 8 (e.g., TCS or COS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee affordable housing/Section 8 compliance, certification, and recertification programs.
• Maintain property waiting list and resident files per policy.
• Coordinate data collection, income verification, and recertification interviews.
• Assist with accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Coordinate inspections and work requests; support leasing tasks.
