Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Texas to support the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. You will help maintain financial records, coordinate maintenance, and ensure a positive resident experience at our properties.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and knowledge of Yardi Voyager or similar systems. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations.
• Maintain accounts receivable, including collecting rent and posting rent.
• Accurately and timely complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Lease apartments as needed and assist with move-ins/outs.
• Assist with resident relations and problem resolution.
• Audit records and files for lease expirations, delinquencies, and detainers.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of buildings, and coordinate maintenance.
• Comply with all company policies and safety rules.
