Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Houston–area community. You will assist the property manager in daily operations, oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, and reporting to ensure a positive experience for residents and owners.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (bachelor preferred), knowledge of rental lifecycle, and familiarity with Yardi Voyager or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations and leasing.
• Maintain accounts receivable, rent posting, and rent roll accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy.
• Handle move-ins/outs, renewals, and move-in coordination.
• Support resident relations and problem resolution.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness and coordinate maintenance.
• Assist in training staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
