Avenue5 Residential is seeking an assistant property manager to support the property manager in overall operations, including lease administration, monthly reporting, and ensuring a positive resident experience.

The role requires 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and knowledge of Yardi Voyager or similar systems. On-site work with opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations, resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Understand operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Maintain accounts receivable: collect rent, post rent, daily deposits, balance rent roll.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records to identify lease expirations, delinquencies, and detainers.
• Collect delinquent balances from previous residents.
• Process evictions, notices, and court appearances.
• Lease apartments as needed and inspect buildings for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with training staff on leasing, marketing, and maintenance operations.
• Prepare routine correspondence and notices.
