Job summary

The Schochet Companies are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for Country Glen Apartments in Groton, CT. You will support daily operations, assist with leasing, and help manage resident relations for a 324-unit market-rate community.

Candidates should have on-site multifamily management experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office. The role offers comprehensive benefits and requires on-site presence in Groton.

Qualifications

• Prior multifamily property management experience required.
• Experience with accounts payable, month-end reporting, lease renewals, and resident account administration.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager with daily operations and administration.
• Oversee office operations in the Property Manager’s absence.
• Support Leasing Consultant and review applicant files for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage property-level accounts payable and prepare month-end reports.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquencies, and resident billing.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs, notices, and deposits; maintain resident files and records.
• Assist with resident relations and retention efforts and property marketing.
