Job summary

Schochet Companies seeks an Experienced Sr. Property Manager to oversee Fresh Pond Apartments in Cambridge, MA. You will direct daily operations, supervise staff, manage rent and budgets, and ensure compliance with Section 8, Fair Housing, and reporting requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multifamily management, COS designation, ARM preferred, and strong communication skills to maintain resident relations and coordinate with vendors and contractors across our 504-unit community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience at a 250+ unit site.
• Knowledge of Section 8 and affordable housing requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise property staff and assist with hiring and performance reviews.
• Manage rent calculations, collections, and notices for delinquencies.
• Prepare operating budgets and monthly variance reports.
• Oversee vendor/contractor relationships and ensure compliance.
• Maintain resident communications and resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure property is safe, compliant, and marketable.
