Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support on-site operations at The Lodge of Overland Park. You will assist in leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination while helping to uphold community standards.

You will screen prospective residents, conduct property tours, and manage move-ins/move-outs with accuracy. Strong communication, organization, and customer service are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in property management, leasing, bookkeeping, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager in daily operations including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
• Assist with prospective resident screenings and move-in/move-out processes.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with leasing activities such as conducting property tours and preparing lease agreements.
• Oversee rent collection, process payments, and manage delinquency follow-ups.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely service requests and property upkeep.
• Monitor and report on property performance metrics and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in planning and executing resident events to foster a sense of community.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor properties to position our community for success.
