Job summary

The NRP Group LLC is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction team in Charleston, SC. This role supports project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and document control under the guidance of the Project Manager and VP of Construction.

You will help allocate resources, coordinate with subcontractors, prepare buyout and change orders, and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards on multifamily projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: 3+ years managing construction of multi-family projects preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, tracking, and controlling project budgets and costs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and deliveries.
• Maintain project schedule, identify delays, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Procurement of shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs; support change order management.
