Job summary

BL Harbert International in Louisiana seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating schedules and subcontractors, and ensuring client satisfaction and project efficiency. Requirements include 2–3 years in construction management and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or engineering; relocation is required.

You will maintain plans and specs, process submittals and pay apps, track changes, and coordinate material deliveries while upholding

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in construction management, buildings and infrastructure; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior experience at the Assistant Project Manager level; managing project budgets, design/build and other construction activities.
• Knowledge of state and local politics and permitting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Distribute, track and maintain plans and specs.
• Maintain and update the Submittal Register.
• Organize and check subcontractor Pay Apps for content and accuracy.
• Generate weekly subcontractor coordination meeting minutes.
• Coordinate subcontractor and BLHI material deliveries.
• Generate subcontractor and supplier change orders and update quantity reports weekly.
• Provide health and dental benefits; Life, AD&D, and LTD; vacation and holidays; 401k; monthly living allowance (if applicable).
