Job summary

BL Harbert International LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, directing and completing construction projects. The role emphasizes coordination of design drawings, project specs, and contractual requirements to meet owner expectations.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of construction management experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and a willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in construction management, buildings and infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, engineering, or comparable degree.
• Experience managing project budgets and design/build activities.
• Knowledge of permitting procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Must be open to relocation.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Distribute, track and maintain plans and specs.
• Maintain and update the Submittal Register.
• Organize and check subcontractor pay apps for content and accuracy.
• Generate weekly subcontractor coordination meeting minutes.
• Coordinate subcontractor and BLHI material deliveries.
• Generate change orders and update quantity reports weekly.
• Support safety, scheduling and monitoring programs.
