Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team on active construction sites. This entry-level role focuses on learning the essentials of project management, handling submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and documentation while coordinating with field personnel and subcontractors.

You will assist in preparing logs, change orders, and Owner/ Maintenance Manuals, ensuring adherence to the quality plan and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with Oracle is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, and resolving issues
• Maintain change orders and drawing control logs; prepare logs for construction meetings
• Prepare contract submittals accurately and timely
• Create and issue subcontractors’ contracts
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals
• Ensure compliance with the project quality control plan
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation for Owner and Maintenance Manuals
• Keep the Warranty Log up to date
• Attend company/project meetings with clients and subcontractors and provide PM support
• Cooperate with field personnel and assist area of responsibility
• Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files
• Prepare price change orders and project reports
• Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
