Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily administrative and management tasks on heavy highway construction projects.

You will help with purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and cost projections, with a clear path to a Project Management role. The role requires coordinating with local officials and the project team to ensure schedules, safety, and budgets are maintained, while building strong

Qualifikationen

• Reading, understanding and interpreting drawings and specs.
• Experience with project scheduling and cost tracking.
• Strong organizational and budgeting abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Aufgaben

• Assist in day-to-day project administrative tasks.
• Support Project Manager and Superintendent with PO's, subcontracts, RFIs and submittals.
• Prepare monthly payment requisitions and maintain project cost codes.
• Coordinate construction activities with local officials and stakeholders.
• Develop positive working relationships with Owners and Project Engineers.
