Job summary

The Jewish Board’s Adult Residential Division seeks an Assistant Program Director (APD) to ensure programmatic systems meet client safety and service needs. The APD supervises Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates, providing clinical and administrative oversight and ongoing staff training.

The APD supports regulatory compliance, collaborates with other departments, participates in staff evaluations, and ensures apartments are safe.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related role.
• Experience working with adults diagnosed with mental illness, homelessness, and substance use history.
• Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides regular supervision to Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates.
• Reviews assessments, progress notes, service plans, and discharge plans for quality and compliance.
• Speaks with Residence Managers on staffing, schedules, and timesheets.
