Job summary

The Jewish Board’s Adult Residential Division seeks an Assistant Program Director to supervise Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates, ensuring clinical and administrative oversight and regulatory compliance.

The APD will train staff, manage program operations, coordinate staffing, and travel weekly across the five boroughs to support residents, working to meet safety, service needs, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a relevant role.
• Experience with adults diagnosed with mental illness, homelessness, and substance use history.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
• Organized and meticulous with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates.
• Review assessments, progress notes, and care/discharge plans for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and timesheets; approve overtime.
• Run reports in Tableau and document work in MyAvatar EHR.
• Travel to resident apartments across the five boroughs weekly.
