Job summary

CSG is seeking an Assistant Program Director (APD) to assist with overall program management and operation of adult MH CRR programs in Dauphin County, PA. The APD reports to the Program Director and helps supervise staff, manage compliance, and support budget and data reporting.

The role is full-time, with a Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu 12pm-8pm schedule and on-call responsibilities. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with relevant experience is required, plus driving eligibility and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years working with mental illness/IDD and 1+ year supervision/management.
• Associate’s degree and 3+ years working with mental illness/IDD and 1+ year supervision/management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and train program employees and make employment decisions.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
• Develop educational materials and provide training to staff.
• Ensure development and implementation of individual program plans.
• Review financial documents and perform on-site audits of funds.
• Lead staff interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Oversee daily operations and incident management.
• Act as Program Director in their absence.
• Develop data collection methods and analyze program performance.
