Job summary

Community Services Group (CSG) is hiring an Assistant Program Director to help manage mental health programs and site operations under the Program Director. The role focuses on compliance, staffing, training, and process improvements, with on-call duties and a 40-hour workweek.

The APD will supervise staff, assist in recruiting, develop training materials, monitor programs for quality and financial integrity, and ensure timely incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ direct work with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities with at least 1 year supervision/management experience.
• Or an associate degree or 60 credit hours with 3 years’ direct work with individuals who have mental illness and/or ID/DD with at least 1 year supervision/management experience.
• A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings and appointments.
• Able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors program and employee compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Supervises, trains, and oversees performance management and employment decisions.
• Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of employees.
• Develops educational materials and provides technical assistance to staff.
• Ensures development and implementation of individual program plans and activities.
• Reviews financial documentation and conducts on-site audits.
• Leads staff meetings and oversees daily program operations including incident management.
• Fulfills Program Director duties in temporary acting capacity when needed.
• Assists in data collection and reporting to monitor program goals.
• Provides coverage in emergency situations.
• Supports trauma-informed care principles and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
