Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead assigned production lines, transform raw materials into finished Lithium-Ion batteries, and drive manufacturing strategy to exceed quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within a high-speed manufacturing environment; on-site responsibilities support production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high speed/high volume manufacturing setting.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement experience.
• ERP transactional experience.
• 5S experience.
• Excellent Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage functional production teams to meet manufacturing KPI’s.
• Empower, develop, and reward individuals and teams for performance and growth.
• Ensure resources are used to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
• Lead continuous improvements in production efficiency using Lean principles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and company goals.
• Attend Management meetings and provide status on production goals.
