Job summary
Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas, seeks a Production Manager to lead multiple high-volume lines in a 24/7 setting, driving safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity while aligning with Lean, SQDCP, and continuous improvement goals.
You will mentor Production Supervisors, optimize capacity, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to deliver measurable outcomes and foster a culture of accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in a high-volume, 24/7 environment.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, FactoryTalk).
- Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement experience.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing performance across assigned lines and meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.
- Lead and develop Production Supervisors for effective daily execution.
- Drive Lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
