Job summary

AEG is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire the team, deliver excellent patient care, and drive meaningful business results on the practice floor.

In this hands-on, developmental leadership role, you will support the Practice Manager with daily operations, patient flow, and service execution while learning multiple practice functions such as patient care coordination, optical sales, and technician support, with potential for expanded responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Optical, healthcare, retail, or comparable service/operations experience.
• 1–2 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn across multiple practice positions to support patient care and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with daily operations, patient flow, team coordination, and service execution.
• Learn and support multiple practice functions, including patient care coordination, optical sales and service, and technician/clinical support.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and training reinforcement to develop team readiness.
• Observe and reinforce patient-centered service behaviors and timely follow-up.
• Participate in interviews, onboarding, and employee-related follow-up as requested.
