Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to support a critical wastewater treatment plant project in Austin, TX. The role focuses on RFIs, submittals, and coordination with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to keep the project on schedule while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering is required.
• 2+ years of project or field engineering experience.
• Prior pipeline project experience.
• Familiarity with reading contract drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review RFIs and submittals from subcontractors and post responses.
• Support Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Analyze change orders against contract documents and assist in cost estimates.
• Link shop drawings to construction schedules and support weekly progress updates.
• Attend routine meetings and drive critical issues to resolution.
• Ensure quality requirements for trade packages are met and coordinated with Quality team.
• Maintain site safety and ensure all personnel meet safety guidelines.
