Hartford Hospital's North 12 medical unit is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support patient‑centered care. Under the Nurse Manager's direction, you will help with staffing, workflow, and ensuring standards of practice and safety across the team.

The assistant nurse manager will supervise a work group, schedule tasks, monitor progress, and coach staff to meet performance goals while promoting high-quality, cost‑effective care within a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and evidence of Arrhythmia Certification prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager in coordinating unit operations and staffing.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate team members to meet performance and quality goals.
• Ensure adherence to standards of nursing practice, safety, and patient-centered care.
• Identify and implement quality improvement opportunities to enhance care and efficiency.
