Hartford Hospital in Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the North 12 unit to lead a collaborative, patient-centered care team. The role supports the Nurse Manager and uses evidence-based practice to develop a plan of care that meets physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.

You will schedule and assign work, monitor performance, coach staff, and drive quality and productivity while aligning with the hospital's strategic goals.

Formación

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire.
• Prior leadership experience and/or unit committee work highly preferred.
• Specialty certification highly preferred.
• Strong communications skills required - both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises a work group to ensure a high quality, cost-effective product or service is delivered in support of the hospital's strategic plan.
• Schedules and assigns work and resolves processing problems.
• Collects data to monitor progress and contributes to performance evaluations.
• Implements department goals and objectives aligned with organizational direction and coaches staff to enable success.
