GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a busy Michigan convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment across shifts.

Open availability including weekends and holidays is required. You’ll participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and basic cash handling, with growth opportunities toward store management; benefits include weekly pay, 401(k), PTO, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after six

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and valid license.
• Ability to perform cleaning and stocking tasks.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Clear communication and basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Food safety certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell promotions.
• Assist in hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when needed.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership to drive excellence.
• Other duties as assigned.
