Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly across all shifts. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help with hiring and inventory.

This role offers weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, insurance coverage, and clear career growth toward store management. A $1000 sign-on bonus is paid after six months.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Excellent English communication and math skills.
• Experience in customer service or retail leadership is a plus.
• Willing to learn and grow into store management.
• Food Safety Certification is required or can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register with speed and accuracy and assist customers.
• Coach team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including pumps and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
