GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Michigan convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach a team, and help hire and train staff to deliver excellent customer service.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work second or third shifts. You'll manage inventory, cash handling, and store operations while pursuing career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Customer service and leadership experience required.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and on second or third shifts.
• Food safety certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
