GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store in Michigan. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, and lead a high-performing team across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

This role emphasizes customer service, upselling promotions, and maintaining store standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrates leadership, and is capable of stepping in as acting manager when needed.

Qualifications

• English proficiency with basic math skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist with hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Act as Store Manager when the Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules ensuring full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and monitor store financials.
