Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Tigard, Oregon is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and act as the General Manager’s right hand. This full‑time role requires open availability and shifts that complement management schedules.

You will coach and develop team members, oversee training, ensure compliance with safety and labor laws, manage scheduling and inventory, and uphold a guest‑first, high‑quality service standard. Growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serv Safe training & certificate.
• 1-2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop team members per plans and procedures.
• Coordinate pre-shift and safety committee meetings.
• Lead with a guest-first mindset and outstanding service.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including labor laws.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive work environment and report concerns to GM/HR.
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and timekeeping to control labor costs.
• Ensure food safety standards and daily operations meet company standards.
