Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved. They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees.

The Assistant Manager can advance to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and six months of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED required.
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling skills; effective English communication.
• Ability to train and lead others; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures theatre departments and all job functions operate smoothly and to standard.
