Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and standards are met. They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees.

The Assistant Manager can progress to Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and serving for at least six months.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (three basic courses).
• Completion of basic food handling training and any local/state required certification.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports decisions with staff.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Assists in administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Ensures policies and dress code are followed.
• Addresses safety, security, and cleanliness matters in the theatre.
